Discovery Scuba Diving
Your first dive in controlled conditions, one-to-one with an instructor. No experience needed at all.
- Short theory briefing
- Skills practice in the pool
- 1 shallow dive
- Underwater photo documentation

Pelangi Scuba Dive Center guides you from your first breath in the pool to diving Indonesia’s finest reefs — with certified instructors, well-maintained equipment, and safety standards we never compromise on.
Based in South Jakarta, Pelangi Scuba was born from one simple conviction: Indonesia’s ocean is far too beautiful to be seen only from the surface. We open that door to anyone — from those who have never worn a mask, to divers ready to go professional.
Every class runs with small groups, regularly serviced equipment, and a safety briefing we never skip. Because the best dive is the one that sends you home with a story, not with an incident.

Indonesia sits right at the heart of the Coral Triangle — the most biodiverse marine region on Earth. More than 17,000 islands, and most of their dive sites are ones you have never seen.
Every course includes digital materials, theory sessions, pool training, and open-water dives with an instructor. Certifications are valid for life and recognised worldwide.

Diatas Manfaat Utama Belajar Scuba Diving Dengan Instruktur Yang Professional.
Genuine reviews from our students and trip guests.
“I was afraid of deep water at first. The instructor was incredibly patient, repeating every skill until I was genuinely comfortable. Now I am carrying on to Advanced.”
“What I like: the safety briefing is taken seriously and the gear is clean and well maintained. As a long-time diver, those are the details I notice.”
“The Komodo trip was well run from start to finish. The guide knew the best spots and still kept the group small.”
“My 12-year-old took the Open Water course here. I felt at ease because the instructor ratio is small and every session was reported back to the parents.”
“The rental gear is complete and clean. The regulator felt freshly serviced — something I rarely find at other dive centers.”
For Discovery Scuba Diving, yes — you are accompanied one-to-one by an instructor throughout. For Open Water certification, however, there is a basic requirement to swim 200 metres unaided and float for 10 minutes. We can help you practise swimming first in a pool session.
Usually 3–4 days: one day of theory and pool training, then two days of open-water dives. The schedule can be split across several weekends if you work.
Yes. SSI and PADI certifications are recognised worldwide and valid for life. You can dive at any dive center with that card.
Just swimwear, a towel, and any personal medication. We provide all diving equipment during the course. If you already own a mask or fins, feel free to bring them.
The minimum age is 10 for Discovery and 12 for Open Water. Every participant completes a medical questionnaire; certain conditions such as asthma, epilepsy, or heart problems require a doctor’s clearance.
A minimum of 18 hours after your last dive for multiple dives, and a minimum of 12 hours for a single dive. We always build trip schedules with this in mind.
Fill in the booking form on this site or message us on WhatsApp. We confirm the schedule, then you secure your place with a deposit; the balance is settled before your first session.
Tell us your plan — a first course, a refresher after a long break, or a trip with your community. We will help you map out the steps.
